Production:

Nicknamed “women’s gold”, shea butter is used to create a plant-based butter with powerful nourishing properties to combat dry skin and hair.

Shea butter comes from the Karité (“butter tree” in Wolof or “life” in Dioula), a tree found in West and Central Africa.

Once the nuts are harvested, they are boiled and dried in the sun before being opened to harvest the almonds nestled inside. Then they are roasted and ground, so that they offer a thick, fatty paste: shea butter.
